Statement on Anna Tuzzato’s passing

This weekend, our Communications Coordinator Anna Tuzzato, has passed away in tragic house fire. As staff and representatives of IFOAM Organics Europe, we express our deepest condolences to her family and friends.

As Anna’s colleagues, we are all shocked and grieved by this tragedy and the loss of our esteemed colleague and friend. Our thoughts go to her family and friends, to whom we present our sincerest condolences. Anna was a dedicated and talented young professional, committed to making the world a better place. She will be missed.

We are still struggling to wrap our heads around this, as it’s unbelievable that such young, bright, and cheerful person was taken from us. For now, we are processing this with our colleagues at the IFOAM Organics Europe office. We are also trying to support her family however we can.
